Photos, documents and the map image

Upload photos and documents, pick the cover, hide a photo from buyers, and set the listing's map image.

Here's how to add files, manage photos and set the map image in Photos & Documents.

Adding files

Drag files onto the box, or use Select File. Select Folder takes a whole folder at once; it works in Chrome and Edge.

  • Photos go into the listing.
  • PDF, Word and text documents are kept with the listing and read by AI.
  • Videos, files over 25MB and other file types are skipped. The page tells you which.

On a new listing, files wait until you press Create Listing or Save as Draft. On an existing listing, they upload straight away.

Your plan sets how many photos one listing can hold: 1 on Free, 5 on Gold and 20 on Platinum. Documents don't count.

What AI does with documents

On a new listing, AI reads the documents and fills the form, the same way Fill with AI does. Check the highlighted fields before saving.

On an existing listing, nothing is changed for you. The page lists Suggested updates from uploaded docs: each field where the document disagrees with the form, old value next to new. Tick the ones you want and press Apply selected. They're only saved when you press Save Changes.

If a PDF has pictures inside, they're offered under "Photos found in uploaded documents". Press + on one to use it as a photo.

One batch of documents uses one AI read, up to 20 documents at a time.

Managing photos

On an existing listing, Manage Photos shows every photo. The first one is the cover, shown first on the listing page and the flyer.

  • Drag a photo, or use the arrows, to change the order.
  • The star makes a photo the cover.
  • The crop button adjusts how it's framed in ads and flyers.
  • The eye button marks a photo internal-only. Buyers never see it, but it still prints on the flyers you open yourself.
  • The bin button deletes it.

The map image

Map Screenshot holds one picture, such as a screenshot of the Google Maps pin. Buyers see it in the listing's Map section. Each listing can have only one.

  • Choose Image adds one.
  • Move to photos turns the current map back into an ordinary photo. That counts toward your photo limit.
  • In Manage Photos, the map button on a photo (Use as map) makes it the map image. Any old map goes back into the photos.

This is separate from the Google map buyers see when you fill in Coordinates.

While anything is uploading, Save Changes is greyed out. Wait for it to finish before you leave the page.
