Find out where buyers see you and your work besides the listings themselves: your own agent page, and the area pages they find through search.
Your agent page
Once your account is approved, you have a public page of your own. It shows:
- your name, your job title (or "Property Consultant" if you left it empty) and your initials;
- your agency and its registration number;
- a WhatsApp button, if you've added your number;
- your business card picture;
- your Active Full listings, under Listings.
Classified and Internal listings don't appear there, and nor does anything that isn't Active. With no live Full listings, the page says "No live listings from this agent right now."
Everything on it comes from My Account. Change a detail there and the page follows. See Your account and public profile.
Finding your link. On My Account, in the Business Card section, the agent info page link opens it. Buyers reach it from View Full Profile on any of your listing pages. Copy the address and use it on your name card, WhatsApp status or social media.
Search engines can index your agent page. Once you have at least one live Full listing, it's also added to our sitemap, so it's more likely to turn up when someone searches your name.
Area pages
Area pages gather listings by type, deal and place, at addresses like Factory for Rent in Puchong. Each also has a Bahasa Melayu version. They cover factories, warehouses, shop lots, offices, industrial, agricultural and development land, and houses.
Each page shows:
- listings offering the property: for rent (WTL), or for sale (WTS and WTJV);
- below them, people looking for it there (WTR and WTB), which helps landlords and co-broke agents.
Twenty listings show per page, with page numbers. The Areas page, in the top menu, gathers the busier area pages in one place.
How your listings get there
You don't do anything. Your Active Full and Classified listings are matched to area pages by their Location, and by their subcategory and Action Required. Internal listings never appear.
An area takes in its well-known neighbourhoods. Shah Alam covers Kota Kemuning, Setia Alam and Glenmarie, for example, so one listing can sit on more than one area page.
An area page goes into search engines and the Areas list once it has 10 live offers. Below that it still works, but isn't promoted.
Your own listing page links back too. Under the listing, More like this in the area shows a button for each qualifying area page it belongs to.
Getting the most from it
- Write the area name plainly in Location, for example "Taman Perindustrian Puchong" rather than only a street name.
- Pick the right subcategory and Action Required. A factory listed as a warehouse lands on the warehouse pages.
- Mark closed deals Sold or Rented so the pages stay current. See Listing statuses: what is public.
