Paying, renewing and expiry

Upgrade or renew from My Plan, pay by bank transfer, upload your slip, and know what happens when a plan ends.

Here's how to pay for a plan, renew it before it runs out, and what happens if you don't.

Upgrading or renewing

  1. Open My Plan in the menu.
  2. Above the plan cards, choose Monthly or Annual · 2 months free.
  3. Press Upgrade or Renew on the plan's card (for example Upgrade Gold).
  4. The exact amount appears. Press Confirm and pay, or Cancel.

You're taken straight to the Payment page.

  • Upgrading mid-period: you pay only the difference for the days left. Your expiry date and billing period stay the same, so keep the same Monthly or Annual choice you're on. You can switch when you renew.
  • Renewing: you pay for a full new period, which starts the day after your current one ends. Your renewal counts once we've confirmed the payment, so send it a few days early. If it's confirmed after your plan has ended, the new period starts that day.
  • Moving down a plan: renew on the smaller plan. It starts when your current period ends. There is no refund for the time left.

You can have one request open at a time. While it's open, My Plan shows it with Go to payment and Cancel request. Once you've submitted a slip, the first button reads View payment.

Paying

The Payment page shows the amount, the bank details and a Reference. The account number, the DuitNow ID and the reference each have a Copy button. Put the reference in your transfer description.

Pay by bank transfer, or DuitNow if a DuitNow ID is shown, then:

  1. Press Choose slip and pick your transfer slip: JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF, up to 10 MB.
  2. The slip is checked against the account number and amount. You see "Slip looks right.", or what to check. A slip that can't be read is checked by hand.
  3. Press Submit. If the check found a problem and you're sure the slip is right, you can Submit anyway.

You get an email that the slip arrived, and another when the payment is confirmed and your plan changes. Until then you can upload a different slip.

If we can't confirm the payment from your slip, you get an email asking for a new one, and the Payment page says "We need a new slip" with the reason. Upload a new one and submit again. If a request is not approved, you're emailed that too, and you can send a new one from My Plan.

A request with no slip after 7 days expires, and you're emailed when it does. You can start again any time.

Before your plan ends

My Plan shows your expiry date and days left. In the last 7 days, a reminder there offers a Renew button. You also get reminder emails 7 days and 1 day before the end. Once your payment for the next period is confirmed, the reminders stop and My Plan shows "Next:" with its start date.

When a plan ends

If you don't renew, you move to Free the day after your expiry date, and you're emailed. Nothing is deleted and nothing is taken down. Your listings stay live, though you can't add more past the Free limits, and your Premium listings leave the strip. See Your plan and its limits.

There's no grace period, so renew before the last day.

Early on the morning a renewal starts, My Plan may show "Plans reopen after 9am". The renewal switches over at 9am, Malaysia time. Until 9am that morning your account works on Free limits and Premium listings are hidden. Everything is back once the renewal starts.

The History table on My Plan lists every upgrade and renewal with its amount and status.
