Premium (featured) listings

On Platinum, put your best Active Full ads in the Premium strip at the top of the home and property pages.

Put your best listings in the Premium strip, the first thing buyers see on the home and property pages. Here's how.

Where Premium listings show

  • Home page: a Premium listings row, above the Full listings.
  • Properties page: at the top, above the grid. The Bahasa Melayu page calls it Iklan Premium.
  • Property category pages: only that category's Premium listings. A category with none shows no strip at all.

Each card is the normal listing card with a Premium badge. The newest featured listing comes first. A featured listing still shows in the normal feed below as well.

On the Properties page the strip follows the buyer's filters: category, type, buy or rent, location and price. When nothing matches, the strip disappears. Classifieds pages have no Premium strip.

Only Active Full ads can be featured. Classified and Internal listings can't, and nor can an earlier copy of an ad you posted again.

Featuring a listing

  1. Open the listing from your Listings page.
  2. Near the top, under the row with Print Flyer and Delete, tick Feature on Premium.
  3. The note beside it updates, for example "2 of 5 used".

It takes effect straight away; you don't need Save Changes. Untick it to take the listing out and free the slot.

What you see depends on your plan and the listing:

  • Free or Gold: the switch is locked, with "Platinum feature — See plans".
  • Platinum, listing not Active: the switch is off and greyed out, with "Only Active listings can be featured."
  • Platinum, all slots used: the switch won't turn on and tells you to unfeature one first.

My Plan on Platinum shows "Featured listings", with how many of your slots you've used.

When a listing leaves the strip

A listing drops out of Premium by itself, and gives its slot back, when:

  • it stops being Active: Sold, Rented, Inactive, Unpublished or Draft;
  • it stops being a Full ad;
  • you delete it.

If it goes Active again later, it doesn't come back on its own. Tick Feature on Premium again.

If you post a newer Full copy of a featured ad, the Premium slot moves to it while it is Active. If it isn't Active, the slot is freed. A Classified repost changes nothing: buyers keep seeing the featured Full ad, and it keeps its slot. If you delete a featured copy, the slot moves to the copy that takes its place when that copy is an Active Full ad, and is freed otherwise. See Ads you posted more than once.

When your Platinum plan ends

If your plan expires, or you move to Gold or Free, your listings leave the strip. Renewing doesn't put them back; feature them again after you renew.

One exception: if your next Platinum period has already been paid and approved before the old one ends, your featured listings stay. They may disappear on the first morning until about 9am, sometimes a little longer, then come back without you doing anything.

See Your plan and its limits for the rest of what each plan includes.
