The Listings page

Find, filter and bulk-update your listings, and open any one to edit it or print its flyer.

The Listings page lets you find any of your listings fast, change many at once, and jump into one to edit it. Open it with Listings in the menu, under Selling. You only ever see your own listings.

Counts at the top

Four tiles show how many listings you have: Active, Full, Classified and Draft. They follow the category and Sale/Rent pills you pick.

Click Active or Draft to show only those. Click it again to show everything. Full and Classified are counts only; use the pills to filter by them.

An ad you posted more than once counts once here, even with Show earlier versions ticked. Your plan's limits count every copy, so an earlier copy that is still Active uses room on your plan without showing in these numbers. See Ads you posted more than once.

  • Category pills: ALL, LAND, INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL, RESIDENTIAL. Picking one shows a second row of property types, such as Factory or Condo.
  • SALE or RENT.
  • FULL or CLASSIFIED.
  • The search box finds a listing by its location, building or project name, remarks or notes, or by its listing ID. A search by ID finds an earlier copy of a reposted ad too.
  • Show earlier versions lists every copy of the ads you posted more than once, not just the one buyers see.
  • Min RM and Max RM set a price range.
  • Pick a year, then a month, to see listings posted in that month.

The grid and list buttons change the layout. Your choice is remembered on that device. Twenty listings load at a time; press Load More for the next lot.

What each card shows

Each card has the deal type (WTS, WTB, WTL, WTR or WTJV), the property type, the posting date, location, size, price and remarks. Prices are shortened, so RM 4,500,000 reads "RM 4.5 mil".

The bottom row has the status and two buttons:

  • Ad (or Classified) opens the live public page in a new tab. A listing that isn't Active shows "No live ad" instead.
  • Print opens the listing's flyer in a new tab. See Print a flyer.

Click anywhere else on a card to open it on the edit page. Status, photos, landmarks, the map image, Promote and Delete all live there.

Changing many listings at once

  1. Press Select, or press and hold any card.
  2. Tap the cards you want. A tick shows on each one.
  3. Choose Set Active, Set Unpublished or Delete.
  4. Press Done or Clear to leave.

Set Active and Set Unpublished work on up to 100 listings at a time. If your plan stops some of them going Active, the page says how many changed and why the rest didn't. See Listing statuses: what is public.

Delete asks you to confirm first and can't be undone. A listing with a deal that isn't Closed or Dead is skipped at first. The page then asks whether to Force Delete those too.

Ads you posted more than once

When you post an ad again, perhaps with a new price, MRE2U spots the new copy and groups it with the earlier ones. Copies are grouped when all of these hold:

  • they are in your account;
  • they have the same deal type, such as WTS or WTL;
  • they share a phone number: one in the ad's text, the owner's number on a Full listing you typed in yourself, or your WhatsApp number when the ad has none;
  • the wording is nearly the same.

Drafts, Internal listings and very short ads are never grouped. Two ads with a different category, property type, place or size stay apart, even when the wording is close.

Buyers see one copy: the newest by posting date, or the newest Full listing if the group has one. The earlier copies keep their status but leave every public page, and a link to one of them opens the copy buyers see. Buyers who saved an earlier copy have the newer one saved instead. If the copy buyers see is not Active, for example Sold, the whole ad is off the site; an older Active copy doesn't come back in its place.

Your Listings page shows each ad once, as the copy buyers see. A card with a Posted 3 times chip has earlier copies. The chip counts copies that aren't Drafts or Internal. Tap the chip, not the card, to open Posting history: every copy, newest first, with its date, status, price and whether it's Full, Classified or Internal. The copy buyers see is marked Shown in public, or Newest copy, not on the site when it isn't live. Each of the newest 10 copies also shows what changed from the copy before it: removed words are struck through, added words are in bold.

Tick Show earlier versions to list every copy. Each earlier one says "Earlier version" on its card.

If two ads were grouped by mistake, open the history and press Not the same ad on the copy that is different, then Yes, not the same ad. That copy stands on its own from then on and is never grouped again, not even with a later repost of it. If it is Active, buyers see it as an ad of its own. This works on the copy buyers see too: another copy in the group takes its place, picked the same way (newest, Full before Classified).

Earlier copies still count towards your plan. An earlier Full copy that is still Active counts towards your Active Full ads, and every Classified you post counts towards the month's total, a repost included. Mark the old copies Inactive, or delete them, once you no longer need them. See Your plan and its limits.
