MRE2U

Pages in Bahasa Malaysia

Which pages have a Malay version, how to open them, and what stays in English.

The main browsing pages and every listing page have a Bahasa Malaysia version.

Opening a Malay page

Put /bm at the front of the page's address. For example:

EnglishBahasa Malaysia
/properties/bm/properties
/classifieds/bm/classifieds
/areas/bm/areas
/l/1234 (a listing)/bm/l/1234

The category pages and area pages work the same way, for example /bm/factory-for-rent/puchong. If you found MRE2U through a search in Malay, the search engine may have sent you to the Malay page already.

There's no language button on the pages. Once you're on a Malay page, the menu links (Properties, Classifieds, Areas, and the Buy and Rent filters) keep you on Malay pages.

What gets translated

On a listing page, the labels, section headings and buttons are in Malay, for example Harga, Pegangan and Tanya Tentang Penyenaraian Ini. Tenure and zoning values and yes or no answers are translated too.

The listing's own text stays exactly as the agent typed it: the headline, location, description, features and landmarks. Codes like WTS and WTL, and the status badge, also stay as they are.

What stays in English

  • The home page, agent profile pages and these help pages.
  • Listing cards on the Malay Properties and Classifieds pages open the English listing page. Add /bm in front of /l/ in the address to switch it.
  • The flyer. Its layout buttons and error messages are in Malay when you open it from a Malay listing page, but the flyer itself is English.
  • Buyer account pages: sign-up, saved listings and alerts.

Enquiries work the same in either language and reach the same agent. See Enquire on a listing.
